We have very strong links with the church and St Michael’s is very much part of our school family.
There is a historical connection, in which the founding vision of the church, brought the whole parish community and teaching of the church together. This continues today.
- School assembly is held at the church once a month (see our Dates for your Diary page) and family and friends are warmly invited to join us.
- Family services at St Michael’s Church at 10am include special celebrations such as Harvest and Christingle
· Our curriculum involves trips to the church e.g.children in Years 1 and 2 experience a mock baptism where they take on the roles of parents and godparents.
- There are special weekend workshops organised by the church community including Mothers’ Day, Harvest and Christingle.
·
End of term services (usually on the last afternoon of each term)
where parents and carers are invited to attend
